Alessia Cottone is a digital artist based in Italy. Her first experience with digital art occurred during her academic years. Graduated in Fashion Design she creates under the influences of her studies. Driven by the necessity to picture both beauty and emotions, most of her artworks investigate the unexpressed feelings of today’s youth. It is in fact common to find in her paintings a negative and unsettling reading of the society we live in, often portrayed by graceful young girls.
"The eyes are useless when the mind is blind". Don’t put constrains on your mind. The brain should re-elaborate what the eyes are seeing to fully call ourselves living beings. When this doesn’t happen we’re just experiencing a life on autopilot, where the world around us remains predefined, unchanged and that often looks like a lie.
Even when surrounded by obscurity, in a place where it seems like there's no way out, always remember to be faithful. Look up, find the strength, believe and let the light be your guide.
